Have you been on the prowl for some awesome camping in South
Dakota? Look no further than the Badlands National Park. The Badlands host dramatic landscaping
which spans across layered rock formations, steep canyons, and massive spires.
You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time as animals such as bison,
bighorn sheep, and prairie dogs roam the open grasslands throughout. Ancient
fossils suggest that animals such as the saber-toothed cat once roamed the
plains. As you head across highway 240 through the Badlands you’ll be tempted
to stop at each scenic overlook and gaze across the countryside. Don’t forget
to bring the binoculars! For more information click here. plaid wool blanket & striped wool blanket
If you’re a first timer to the Badlands, you’ll most likely want
to do front country camping at either of the two campgrounds inside the park,
Cedar Pass Campground or Sage Creek Campground. Unfortunately, no
campfires are allowed but you can bring your own grills and camp
stoves. The weather across these great plains will have you seeing
sunshine one minute and cold, windy weather the next. We recommend
you keep a few Woolly Mammoth Woolen Company Explorer Collection wool blankets nearby. The
solid Gray
Wool Blankets and solid green wool
blankets will help
protect you from the cold. The dense weave and natural
characteristics of the wool fibers help retain body heat yet allow your body to
breathe. As you wander off from either of these great campgrounds
you can access all the great trails and natural beauty that is abundant in the
park. For more information click here. washing wool blanket & wholesale blankets
For your next adventure to the Badlands National Park, try out
some backcountry camping. With over 244,000 acres of parkland, you’ll
be sure to find that perfect place to pitch your tent and find peace and
tranquility. For more information click here. teal blanket & fireproof blanket
